First lady Janet Museveni’s Ministry of Education and Sports, through the Education Service Commission (ESC), has released the list of over 800 enrolled nurses who qualified to do aptitude tests for government payroll jobs in seed schools.
These over 800 shortlisted enrolled nurses are some of the professionals undergoing a recruitment exercise for teachers and non-teaching staff for secondary seed schools under the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers Program (UGIFT).
The shortlisted candidates responded to ESC Advert No. 4/2024 published on December 23, 2024 for the posts of teaching staff or teachers – Education Officer (EO), and Assistant Education Officer (AEO); as well as Non-teaching Staff (NTS): Senior Accountant Assistant (SAA), Enrolled Nurses, Stenographer Secretaries, Library Assistants and Laboratory Assistants.
Education Service Commission Secretary Dr Asuman Lukwago noted that all Shortlisted applicants must appear for the Aptitude Tests as scheduled and must come along with national identity cards. Dr Lukwago also emphasized that ESC services are free.
The name of the seed school for each candidate is included, and so is the date and venue for aptitude test for each candidate.
