Nsambya Hillside Western Campus, Maryhill High School, Ntare School, St Joseph’s Vocational School and Mbarara High School are the 2022 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) champions in Mbarara District after posting better results than other schools.
Nsambya Hillside Western Campus had all its 34 candidates passing in Division One (first grade); while Maryhill High School had 259 candidates in first grade and 24 in second grade.
Ntare School had 257 in first grade, 69 in Division Two and six in third grade; while St Joseph’s Vocational School had 111 in first grade, 69 in second grade and six in third grade.
Mbarara High School came fifth with 142 candidates in first grade, 89 in second grade and eight in Division Three.
St Mary’s Girls’ Vocational Secondary School, St Elizabeth Girls Secondary School, Cleverland High School, Kashaka Girls Secondary School and Parental Care Secondary School complete Mbarara’s top 10 on the list of 43 best schools.
