Pearl Junior School, Bushenyi is one of the best primary schools in PLE 2024
Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality has emerged atop in the analysis of best-performing districts, cities and municipalities, based on first grades. In this report, we take a look at the list of the best and worst performing schools in Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality, the country’s finest in PLE 2025.
The number of candidates in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality increased from 1,561 in 2024 to 1,749 in 2025, according to figures seen by The Pearl Times.
The number of first grades (division one) increased from 814 in 2024 to 845 in 2025.
The number of second grades increased from 662 to 824 in the same period under comparison.
For third grade, the number reduced from 54 to 39 while the number of fourth grade scores increased slightly from 21 to 22.
Division U scores increased from 04 to 10 while Division X scores increased from 06 to 09.
A summary of results compiled by Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality education officials indicate that most schools there had majority of their candidates in first and second grades.
Bushenyi Municipal School has all its candidates in the first grade or division one.
St Kaggwa Boarding Primary School and Parental Care Primary School have the biggest number of first grades, with 115 and 112, respectively.
Pearl Junior School and Bweranyangi Junior Primary School had 88 first grades, each.
