PLE 2023 STARS: Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi Shines (See Full Results)

Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality’s Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi has outshone its competitors, topping the list of top schools in the municipality and district, according to results from the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

According to results released by assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb), Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi had 90 candidates registering for PLE 2023 examinations.

Of these, 89 candidates passed in Division One (First Grade) while only one got a good second grade (Division Two) – aggregate 12.

Irene Ainembabazi was the PLE 2023 best candidate at Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi, scoring aggregate five. Seven other candidates scored aggregate five.

Up to 14 candidates at Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi managed aggregate six each; 18 scored aggregate seven; while 20 scooped the aggregate eight score.

A total of 14 Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi’s candidates scored aggregate nine; 10 scooped aggregate 10 while three managed aggregate 11.

Speaking to The Pearl Times, Trevor Yebazamukama, the Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi Director, attributed the excellent performance to “hard work, the fear of God and cooperation among school stakeholders — mostly pupils, parents and teachers.”
