Jose Chameleone Reveals Real Reason Why He Hates Bobi Wine

Singer and politician Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone crossed from Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) of President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

Prior to joining NUP, Jose Chameleone had been a member of NRM and later Norbert Mao’s Democratic Party (DP).

But now, as the Biblical prodigal son came back to his senses and returned home, Jose Chameleone is back to President Museveni’s NRM.

But why exactly does Jose Chameleone hate Bobi Wine to the extent of abandoning his (Bobi Wine’s) struggle?

According to Chameleone, he had quit the NRM because there were some unresolved issues. But then when he crossed to NUP, things were not any better.

He says he was always denied a chance to meet the ‘principal.’

“Every Ugandan knows that I joined people power and my brother Kyagulanyi Ssentamu to fight for the rights of Ugandans. I woke up and went to Kamwokya and processed everything but getting to speak to Bobi Wine was not very easy,” says Chameleone.

He was, consequently, denied the NUP flag for the Kampala lord mayoral race — something which he interpreted as Bobi Wine hating him so much. And he felt treated like trash.

“NUP refused to give me the lord mayoral ticket for the flag bearer even after Latif turned back the card. So why would I remain in a place where I’m not loved. It’s better I be with the devil that loves me than a god who doesn’t care,” he said.
