JESUS TOLD ME TO LEAVE X: Muhoozi Explains Why He Left Social Media Platform

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Uganda’s tweeting general, son and senior advisor to long serving president Yoweri Museveni, and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), has left microblogging site X. In a farewell post, Gen Muhoozi explains why he left X.

He described his journey and presence for the past decade as “a great whirlwind” and as “rousing.”

He claimed that Jesus had instructed him to leave X and focus on the national army and pacifying the region.

Gen Muhoozi said he would return at the right time, and after accomplishing the task that Jesus reportedly gave him.

“To all my Dear followers, it has been a great whirlwind and rousing journey together on these streets for the last 10 years since 2014. However, the time has now come under the instructions and blessings of my Lord Jesus Christ to leave and concentrate on His army, the UPDF,” he wrote.

“I know you all love me, and that you will continue to follow me like the wind long after here. At an appropriate time in the future when it becomes important, and after fulfilling the Almighty God’s immediate assignment to restore everlasting peace and security to all His people in our region, we shall always re-converge.”

He urged Ugandans and his followers to keep supporting his father Museveni.

“I love you all so much, and in whatever you do, continue to support Uganda, Africa, and our revolutionary President, the greatest General of the Resistance, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Kwaheri, and God bless you all!”

Muhoozi has previously confessed Jesus Christ, and his supporters like Minister Balaam Barugahara have brought God in their defence and support of Museveni’s son. Balaam, for example, claimed that God changed his mind on making Muhoozi president in 2026. (See Details Here and There).

This is not the first time Muhoozi is leaving X (Twitter). He was previously reportedly forced by his father to leave the platform over reckless posts that Museveni apologized for. Rwandan president even offered to edit Muhoozi’s posts. (See Details Here, There and Over There).

Meanwhile, opposition politician Bobi Wine has dared Muhoozi to a fight, telling him to leave guns at home and face him man to man for a fight – after Museveni’s son threatened to cut off Bobi’s head. (See more Here and There).
