Isaac Ssemakadde’s World: ‘Bang the Twins’ – Book Written by Twin Sisters – Out Soon

Twin sisters Yvonne Babirye and Cynthia Nakato say they are writing the book whose title includes the words ‘Bang the Twins’ and that it will be out soon.

The twin sisters were months ago seen in photos by Isaac Ssemakadde during and after his campaigns for Uganda Law Society (ULS) presidency.

Now, the twin sisters Yvonne Babirye and Cynthia Nakato are seeking to flee from Isaac Ssemakadde’s world.

Bang the twins is a corruption of Isaac Ssemakadde’s slogan ‘Bang the Tables’ which he rode on as he campaigned, promising to use his ‘Radical New Bar’ to shake things up in the legal industry.

He and the twin sisters have since fallen out, and these young women now seek to upend Ssemakadde’s world with their new book.

Babirye said she and Nakato had elected not to keep quiet anymore and will soon share their experience regarding activism in Uganda.

“Silence only guarantees than nothing changes which is why my sister and I are launching our book “Bang the Twins” narrating our lived experience in activism,” she noted.

Her twin sister Nakato added some context on the title of the book, saying it will a little lengthy, and that it will read: ‘B𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐬: 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚’𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐦.’

She also emphasized that she has had no ‘entanglements’ in her work as an activist.

“In the political activism space, I have not been involved in any personal relationships with anyone!” Nakato noted.

It should be remembered that the twin sisters recently came out and narrated how their relationship with Isaac Ssemakadde ended in tears. (See their full story and Ssemakadde’s response Here and There).

The twin sister’s shocking revelations were followed by allegations of Isaac Ssemakadde’s alleged involvement in a Shs3bn fake gold scandal involving a Mzungu investor, which scandal was later to be known as the ‘Bang the Gold’ scam over which Ssemakadde threatened to sue NBS TV, as reported Here, There and Over There.

The alleged fake gold scandal is one of the many that have been reported in recent year. Months ago, shocking details emerged of how Ugandan fraudsters claiming to be Museveni’s close relatives reportedly conned foreign gold investors of their money. (See Details Here and There).
