FULL LIST: See Names of 2,700 Applicants Shortlisted for Uganda Police Jobs

Uganda Police Force (UPF) has released the names of candidates who have been shortlisted for jobs in the law and order enforcement agency.

The shortlisted applicants are those seeking jobs a probationer police constable (PPC) – General Duties and those who applied to become police drivers.

The total shortlisted candidates number about 2,700 Ugandans.

A little over 1,800 applicants have been shortlisted for probationer police constable jobs.

Over 850 have been shortlisted for police driver jobs.

These have now been invited for interviews which will include a fitness test, aptitude test, oral test, medical examination, and a driving test for those vying to be recruited as drivers.

As they head for interviews, the shortlisted candidates have also been directed to go with the Original National Identity Card or  confirmation of National Identity Card particulars letter from NIRA.

They will also be required to go with their original academic documents.

Those shortlisted for driver jobs will be required to present an original copy of their driving license.

Interviews will be conducted at designated recruitment centers on different dates.

“All shortlisted applicants are required to report to the recruitment centers by 08:00 am,” read a police notice.

Out of these 2,700 shortlisted candidates, about 1,000 will be recruited to work for Uganda Police Force.

This means that nearly 1,700 will be rejected.

Meanwhile, Museveni’s government has confirmed the appointment of about 1,000 teachers who will be added on the government payroll. (See names of teachers confirmed for government payroll jobs HERE).
