Final List: Names of 12000 Ugandans Who Have Landed Uganda Police Jobs

Uganda Police Force (UPF) has released the final list of nearly 12,000 Ugandans who have landed jobs as Probationer Police Constables.

The shortlisted candidates are now expected to go for police training next month.

“Following the advertisement on 10th March 2025, and interviews conducted from 28th April to 5th May 2025, the following candidates were successful and shortlisted to report for training to become Probationer Police Constables,” said police in a statement accompanying the release of the final shortlist.

“The selected candidates are required to report to the Police Training School indicated against their particulars on July 07, 2025.”

As they head for training, the selected candidates have also been asked to carry along originals and photocopies of academic documents and National Identity card, four (04) passport size photographs, and a mattress (3×6, at most 4 inches).

Candidates have also been asked to take with them two (02) blue pens, three counter books, two (02) pairs of bed sheets, a pair of gumboots, a pair of canvas shoes, a tracksuit and two (02) t-shirts for physical exercise, a mosquito net, a least 04 pairs of thick cotton stockings and a plastic jerrycan (10 litres).

The other requirements are: a a plasțic basin or bucket, and personal effects: two (02) bars of soap, toothpaste and brush, towel, razerblades, spoons, forks, plate, cup, six (06) rolls of toilet paper, and two 02) packets of sanitary pads for ladies.
