Dear God, Let Museveni Give Her a Juicy Job: Pastor Bujjingo Prays for Anita Among

While she is going through troubles, Anita Among can still count on some friends and well wishers like Aloysius Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) located in Makerere Kikoni in the capital Kampala.

During a church service, Pastor Bujjingo urged the congregation to raise their hands and lift up Anita Among, her children and her husband Moses Magogo (an MP and Federation of Uganda Football Associations – Fufa – president).

Bujjingo then presented former speaker of parliament of Uganda Anita Annet Among aka AAA to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and asked Him to carry Anita Among through the winds of trouble she is facing presently.

He also prayed for Anita Among’s children, acknowledging that they were God’s children and Ugandan children.

Pastor Bujjingo went on to pray for the friends of Anita Among who have chosen to keep supporting her through the tough times.

He asked God to calm the storm so that Anita Among can be reconciled to the Museveni government, and that she will be given another position in which to serve in.

Bujjingo insisted that Anita Among was not entirely a bad person but one capable of good and bad deeds as all humans.

He also asked God to bless and do good to Anita Among in her challenging times.

The prayers come against the backdrop of mounting legal and political troubles facing Among, who has in recent days been the subject of high-profile investigations into alleged illicit enrichment, abuse of office and money laundering. State agencies have intensified scrutiny of her financial dealings, placing her among the most closely watched public officials in Uganda.

Security operatives have also conducted searches at properties linked to Among, including her residences and offices, in operations aimed at tracing assets believed to have been acquired through questionable means. The raids reportedly yielded documents and high-value items now under review by investigators.

The growing pressure has had significant political consequences. Among recently withdrew from the race for Speaker of Parliament, a position she once held, amid increasing calls for accountability and internal realignments within the ruling establishment.

Her husband, Moses Magogo, has also come under the spotlight as authorities widen the scope of investigations to include close associates and family members, further deepening the stakes of the unfolding inquiry.

The ongoing investigations and public debate continue to shape her political future as allies like Pastor Bujjingo publicly rally spiritual and moral support around her.
