Date Set for Return of Jacob Oulanyah’s Body

Presidency minister Milly Babirye Babalanda has revealed the date when the body of late speaker Jacob Oulanyah will arrive in Uganda.

Oulanyah died in the US on March 20. (Read Story Here).

Now, over a week since the speaker died, Babalanda, the chairperson of the burial organising committee, has confirmed that Oulanyah’s body will arrive in the country on Friday, April 01.

“Fellow Ugandans, I wish to confirm that the body of our beloved Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah will arrive in Uganda this Friday,” said Babalanda.

“We shall then have a weeklong series of activities for his burial.”

Minister Babalanda is expected to release the full burial program on March 29.
