I have watched a sickening video of Terrence Howard, a BLACK American multiple award winning actor, as he pitched to Ugandan dictator Yoweri Museveni a new form of ‘flight technology’ that he purportedly ‘invented’, which he claims is going to ‘replace Drones, Helicopters, Aeroplanes,’ etc.

“Unforeseen challenges such as the unprecedented delay of the Final Investment Decision (FID) on the oil and gas projects and Vantage’s requirement to us to improve the Hotel’s fire and safety features to internationally benchmarked standards hindered our envisaged projects. We then proactively engaged Vantage and mutually agreed to a further moratorium for two (2) years, thereby mutually agreeing to freeze all payments until December 2019.

It may still be early to conclude but all signs, so far point only good things ahead at the Presidency. Why the Minister chooses to respond to open attacks with silence is a secret we may not be able to fully comprehend, but her action backed approach is, so far proving to be the best.

It is important that we start appreciating the contribution being made by young people, motivate them and make them have desire to work and grow.

As Vinci builds its factory, government can start planting coffee on its vast land (or even acquire more land) which they can then “undertake to take all reasonable measures to give priority of supply of coffee” to Vinci. I don’t think any coffee stakeholder or farmer will raise any finger when beans from the government’s farms are given to a single buyer.

And so, we have finally neared the summit of our journey from the Republic of Uganda to the Kingdom of Rwakitura under the Kaguta dynasty.

Question: what makes you think you are close to the youth of Uganda? Are you close by age or association? Or as a leader? And if by association or as a leader, do you even know how many youth are jobless on streets and in villages? Or how many have slept hungry tonight? First and foremost, you are not right on what youth want.
