Brenda Kiconco and Collins Tanga
Thousands of National Resistance Movement (NRM) youths across the country have taken part in the election of NRM youth league leaders today, Thursday, September 18, 2025. The race for the NRM youth league chairperson is a Brenda Kiconco vs Collins Tanga contest. The Pearl Times Decision Desk brings NRM Youth League Chairperson results as they trickle in:
We have learnt that across the country, there has been low voter turnout as delegates stayed away from the 151 polling stations at districts.
While the youth delegates were supposed to vote for the NRM youth league at the Kololo delegates conference in August 2025, chaos broke out after party electoral commission chairperson Dr Tanga Odoi declared his son the chairperson of the league.
Brenda Kiconco, an aide to President Museveni (the NRM national chairman), petitioned the NRM Election Disputes Tribunal which nullified Collins Tanga’s victory, as reported Here.
