Bobi Wine to Adonia Ayebare: You’re Sinking so Low to Protect Your Job

Main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has told Uganda’s permanent representative to the UN Adonia Ayebare that he is sinking so low to protect his job.

Bobi Wine was responding to Adonia Ayebare after he claimed that the 2026 and two-time presidential candidate’s Capitol Hill engagements were a publicity stunt.

“This is a publicity stunt rather than a substantive engagement , anyone can engage people at the Hill. If the Uganda government was interested in blocking your travels they would have issued an Interpol red notice,” wrote Adonia Ayebare.

“You’re free to return home as you have yourself stated publicly and address what ever grievances you have. Your handlers like Jeffrey Smith will struggle to deliver because Uganda stands out as a beacon of hope in the current geopolitical environment.”

But Bobi Wine has described Adonia Ayebare as a pseudo-intellectual, comparing him to such as sang praises for Adolf Hitler.

The NUP leader said that Adonia Ayebare was simply protecting his job but urged him to limit how far he should sink to please his paymaster.

Bobi Wine also suggested that people like Ayebare were embarrassed after he (Bobi) beat security to flee Uganda.

“Even Hitler had pseudo-intellectuals like yourself singing praises for him and justifying the crimes he committed against his people until he fell. I know you’re protecting your job, but there must be a limit to how low you can sink,” wrote Bobi Wine.

“You’re ashamed that I beat your paymaster at his game. One day Uganda will be free, but history does not forget and is never kind to your kind.”

Months ago, Museveni appointed Adonia Ayebare to his cabinet. (See Details Here).

Earlier, Bobi Wine’s ally Jeffrey Smith suggested that Adonia Ayebare was in panic over Bobi Wine’s Capitol Hill engagements but pretending to be brave, as reported Here.

After two months of hiding, Bobi Wine fled Uganda, leaving a clear message to Museveni and his son Gen Muhoozi that it was not yet over, as reported Here.
