Former Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine says an assassination attempt against outgoing works and transport minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala is a clear signal that no one is safe.
Katumba Wamala is currently being treated for injuries at the Medipal International Hospital in Kampala following a June 01 morning shooting along Kisota Road in Bukoto-Kisaasi.
His daughter Brenda Nantongo and driver Haruna Kayondo were killed in the attack.

About 24 hours following the incident, Bobi Wine, who served with Katumba Wamala in the 10th Parliament, says the assassination attempt shows nobody is safe.
“The assassination attempt on Gen. Katumba Wamala which left his daughter and driver killed is another indication that lawlessness doesn’t only affect common citizens but also high ranking members. NO ONE IS SAFE! This is the painful reality,” noted Bobi Wine.
