BMK’s Journey Ends at Nkoowe Cemetery after Night of Tears at His Naguru Home where Body Spent Last Day

The body of fallen businessman Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige aka BMK is will be laid to rest today at Salaam Muslim Cemetery at Nkoowe.

The Nkoowe Cemetery is about 13 miles on Hoima Road in Wakiso District.

At the cemetery, BMK will rest next to his late mother and daughter Sarah Muwanga.

By the time, BMK’s body arrived September 11, the place where the tycoon, who succumbed to prostate cancer, will be laid to rest was already being worked on.

After the arrival of BMK’s body on Saturday, prayers were held at the Kansanga Mpsque.

Later, the body was taken to his palatial home in Naguru.

Here, dignitaries from government and business world were in attendance.

Deputy speaker Anita Annet Among also visited the BMKs.

It was a somber mood at the vigil ahead of the final journey of a man who built his business empire from scratch.

Before heading to Nkoowe, family members and friends will hold prayers for BMK at a mosque located at his Hotel Africana in Kampala.
