When Mathias Mpuuga unveiled his new political vehicle, The Democratic Alliance, he also signed a coalition with controversial singer Patrick Mulwana aka Alien Skin.
After signing an agreement at Malibu Gardens in Kampala, Alien Skin took to the podium to speak to The Democratic Alliance enthusiasts and supporters of Mpuuga.
Alien Skin, who was recently on remand for theft of a mobile phone and assault, said he and Mpuuga have both been accused of theft and should work and respect each other for better results.
Alien Skin says in his crew, Fangone Forest, they respect elders and those who refuse to do so are considered disrespectful to elders.
He added that he and Mpuuga having been accused of theft were birds of the same feathers who should unite and take their craft forward.
All this as Mpuuga watched. He tried to mask his embarrassment with laughter but he well knew that Alien Skin had opened a fresh wound.
"I was remanded to prison for stealing a phone. I'm told my brother (Mathias Mpuuga) also stole Shs500 million. So, birds of the same feathers……It means your alliances should be on a higher level such that you take your theft to another level….In Fangone we respect all… pic.twitter.com/LBr9CXCV39

Although a court ruling cleared Mpuuga in his Shs500m scandal, some Ugandans still insist he should have returned the money he was given since he had always been paid a salary. (See Details Here, There and Over There).
Mpuuga promised a new dawn as he launched his Democratic Alliance, but his predecessor Leader of Opposition had earlier told him not to waste Ugandans’ time, saying he will be embarrassed since he can only be president of Masaka, as reported Here and There.
