Uganda Police Force (UPF) has released suspected killer’s voice recording in Entebbe couple murder.
David Mutaaga and Deborah Florence Mutaaga were killed at their home in Entebbe on July 06, 2025.
The Mutaagas had just returned from abroad where they had lived for many years. They had hosted their friends and relatives at a party to celebrate their homecoming.
The voice of the prime suspect in the murder of David Mutaaga and Deborah Florence Mutaaga was captured by CCTV cameras.
Police has now asked Ugandans who can recognise the voice to help detectives arrest the suspect. Anyone who helps in the suspects arrest, UPF spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke noted, will be given Shs50m.
“On Sunday July 6, 2025, we registered the murder of Mr. Mutaaga David and his wife, Deborah Florence Mutaaga in Entebbe. In collaboration with other security agencies, the police are actively searching for the suspects and gathering evidence,” noted Rusoke.
“We have obtained a recording of the suspect’s voice and urge anyone who recognizes it to come forward and help identify the individual. A reward of fifty million shillings (UGX 50,000,000/=) been offered by Uganda Police to anyone who provides information leading to the suspect’s apprehension.”
