Days ago, President Yoweri Museveni’s son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba ordered the arrest of opposition politician and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba had also threatened to cut off Bobi Wine’s head, saying it was only his father Museveni stopping such a move.
Muhoozi also hurled insults at Bobi Wine, talking about his teeth and making comparisons to monkeys. Now, Bobi Wine, the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader and 2021 presidential candidate, has given Muhoozi a challenge.
“You saw [his posts in which] he said he wants to chop off my head. Why doesn’t he put the gun down and come and cut it off,” said Bobi Wine as he eulogized fallen Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya at the NUP headquarters in Makerere Kavule on January 09, 2025.
