Controversial TikToker Ken Mukalakasa has been arrested on allegations of sodomizing a boy. Facing sodomy allegations, TikToker Ken Mukalakasa was arrested on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
The allegations against Mukalakasa are said to be from as far back as 2018, about eight years ago. He is accused of having unnatural acts against a minor contrary to laws of Uganda, including the anti-gay law, popular in conservative Uganda but considered harsh among donors in the western world.
Some of the allegations against TikToker Ken Mukalakasa are said to have been sparked by videos recorded showing the controversial social media user having unnatural acts with a boy.
Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, the junior minister for youth and children’s affairs, said security officers had been looking for TikToker Ken Mukalakasa for some time.
Police sources say detectives are looking at available facts to see if they will slap charges against Mukalakasa.
Detectives plan to rely on the statement by the victim. They will seek to record a statement from the victim and finding out if he reported the case when it happened.
Earlier, Mukalakasa surrendered to Minister Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi. Mukalakasa appeared on camera apologizing to government officials and the victim but it later emerged that he was arrested.
Mukalakasa is said to be under detention at the Kampala Central Police Station (CPS).
