After NBS TV added Sheila Gashumba to its already packed After5 crew, the question of how much they would pay her as salary has been on the minds of many people.
Although Sheila Gashumba had vowed never to return to television screens where she said presenters and reporters earn peanuts, she finally swallowed her words and accepted a job as a presenter.
So, how much will she be earning?
According to reports, NBS TV will be paying Frank Gashumba’s daughter Shs1.7m for her daily appearances as co-host of After5.
The salary will be a little lower than what the show’s other presenters, Douglas Lwanga and MC Kats, earn but above what DVJ Mercy and DJ Roja take home every month.
MC Kats is said to earn Shs2.2m every month while Douglas Lwanga smiles to the bank for his Shs2m.
DJ Roja and DVJ Mercy earn Shs1.5m, each, every month.
