Controversial TikTokers Shani Lips and Moody face arrest over leaked video after minister Balaam Barugahara issued orders to the same effect.
Minister Balaam Barugahara has made it clear to Shani Lips and Moody that they will soon be arrested by police’s CID operatives so that they can be taught a lesson on the right things to do.
Shani Lips and Moody’s leaked video shocked many weeks ago, especially because it was labelled l€sb!@n.
Such acts are unlawful under Uganda’s anti-h0mos€*ual!ty law. It is this law that Uganda’s junior minister for youth affairs, Balaam Barugahara, is basing on to order for the arrest of Shani Lips and Moody.
Balaam learnt of the Shani Lips and Moody leaked video in an interview with a Radio4 host who seemed to even know that the two TikTokers stay in Makindye.
Balaam Barugahara then said he would watch the videos as and when the host shares them with him, before directing police to summon Shani Lips and Moody.
The minister said that he would not watch as the youth he leads descend into “immorality and hooliganism.”
He went on to say that even if Shani Lips and Moody were looking for likes and views on TikTok, they should not get them through acts that are unlawful in Uganda.
“Parliament passed the anti-h0mos€*ual!ty law. As a Minister for the youth, I will direct the police to summon them… to answer for their immorality and hooliganism. We cannot allow that to happen,” said Balaam Barugahara.
Shani Lips has previously spoken out on reports that she is a l€sb!@n after the leaked video. She also threatened to drag her ex-boyfriend to court for leaking the video. (See Details Here and There).
