A Ugandan man has died after reportedly collapsing while ‘chewing’ Neighbor’s wife in the bush. The secret bush encounter that ended in tragedy happened in Namulanda B Cell of Namulanda Parish in Bukooma Subcounty of Luuka District.
Residents were left in shock after a 50-year-old man, identified as Simon Kalamu, died after collapsing during the act.
It is said that Kalamu left his home at night, about 9pm on May 18, 2026 before meeting a 40-year-old woman believed to be his neighbour.
According to local reports, the two had gone to a nearby bush to make themselves happy when Kalamu suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive.
The woman reportedly raised an alarm, attracting nearby residents who rushed to the scene. Witnesses said the man was already unconscious by the time locals arrived.
Police later arrived and cordoned off the area as officers began investigations into the incident. Authorities said the body was later taken for a postmortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
Busoga North regional police spokesperson Samson Lubega confirmed the incident and said investigations were ongoing. Lubega said that Kalamu is said to have collapsed during the second round with the woman, aged 40.
The incident quickly spread across Luuka and neighbouring areas, with many residents expressing shock over the unusual circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Reports also indicated that Kalamu was a married man, with some locals whispering that he was known for engaging in affairs with a number of women.
Others even said that he had been taking some energy giving drinks and herbs to boost his stamina.
