Security agencies have arrested the director of a Kasese District-based school where 37 students were killed by suspected ADF rebels. Investigators are following a clue backed by allegations that there were wrangles over the ownership of Peter Hunter Lhubiriha SS Nyabugando located in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council.
The revelation was made by Junior (State) Minister in charge of ICT and National Guidance Minister Godfrey Kabbyanga Baluku while in Kasese. Kabbyanga hails from the district.
He assured locals that government will do everything humanly possible to ensure that there is no repeat of such attacks.
He then revealed that security has arrested a one Tom Nelson, the director of Peter Hunter Lhubiriha SS Nyabugando, to help them with investigations into the matter.
Besides the ADF clue, investigators are seriously probing allegations that there were wrangles in the school, with different groups fighting to take it over from its Canadian owner.
President Museveni has hinted on this allegation in his first written statement since the Kasese killings.
