Former Ishaka-Bushenyi MP Gordon K Arinda Cowboy has succumbed to Covid19.
The ex-MP had been admitted at the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
According to Government Chief Whip Thomas Tayebwa, Arinda lost the battle to Covid19 on Sunday, January 10 evening.
“Rest In Peace my brother Gordon. When I went to see you at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital on Wednesday, I didn’t know Covid19 would take you,” said Tayebwa, also Ruhinda North MP.
“We prayed and thanked God for having defeated the devil not knowing it was meant to take you today evening. So so sad!”
Arinda represented Ishaka-Bushenyi Municipality in the 10th Parliament.
