Presidency minister Milly Babirye Babalanda has blamed the mafia within the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) for claiming that people in her office removed names of RDCs who failed to bribe them with Shs20m each from the newly released list of Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) and their deputies.
President Museveni’s office recently released the list of new RDCs, RCCs and their deputies. (Read Story Here).
But Kashambya MP David Kabanda has claimed that Minister Babalanda’s office removed RDCs who refused to bribe them with Shs20m from the final list of RDCs. (Read Story Here).
Minister Babalanda has been quoted as daring MP Kabanda to produce evidence to substantiate his allegations. (Read Story Here).
The minister has further claimed that there is an NRM Mafia gang for which Kabanda might be working.
And that it is this mafia group that is bent on pulling her down from the top and ensure that she falls from grace to grass.
“He [Kabanda] is being used by NRM Mafias. (PHD’s) pull her down [Their interest is to pull me down],” Babalanda was quoted as telling Trumpet News.
