Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament Anita Among and her husband Moses Hashim Magogo, the Budiope East MP, have celebrated their twins’ birthday. Tenywa Magogo and Waiswa Magogo have turned one.
The healthy looking babies have been named after their father Magogo, who is also the president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa), a key organization for football matters in the country.
In the photos shared by Speaker Anita Among, both her and Magogo are holding the twins: Tenywa Magogo and Waiswa Magogo.
The photos reveal the identities of the boys to the third most important government official in hierarchy and the head of the legislative arm of government: Anita Among, also the Bukedea District Woman MP.
“Happy birthday to beloved sons Waiswa and Tenywa Magogo. May Allah grant you a long, healthy, and prosperous life! Lots of love from Mum and Dad,” wrote Anita Among on the occasion of the birthday celebration for Tenywa Magogo and Waiswa Magogo.
Contrary to reports that Anita Among had given birth to Tenywa Magogo and Waiswa Magogo in a private hospital outside the country, she clarified that she had chosen to deliver the twins in a Kampala hospital. Nalongo Anita Among Magogo also took a shorter leave than most people expected – and that she was entitled to. (See related story Here).
It should be remembered that at some point, the marriage between Magogo and Speaker Anita Among almost ended in tears after its registration was cancelled. (See Details Here, There and Over There).
But with the challenges with the marriage registration fixed, the two powerful politicians continued showering each other with love. For example, to express her love for Magogo, Speaker Anita Among gifted a Range Rover to her husband as The Pearl Times reported Here.
