Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga and his wife Margaret have celebrated their 33th wedding anniversary.
Katikkiro Mayiga and Margaret wedded on April 29, 1989.
The Mayiga’s thanked God for the blessing of children, friends and the Buganda Katikkiro job.
“We thank God for the 33 years of our marriage in which we have been blessed with children, grand children, friends and many good things; and of course service, one of which was the premiership,” said Mayiga.
Mayiga’s wife, who sometimes moves with her husband on key events, is a human resource professional.
Margaret Mayiga currently runs Kids and Love Kindergarten and Nursery School in Bwebajja along Entebbe Road.
