Patience Mutoni Malaika, the ‘Angel’ Frank Gashumba Patiently Waited for

 

Motormouthed social commentator, businessman and Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) leader Frank Gashumba seemed to have unofficially made a vow to remain single – but that came to an end today as Patience Mutoni Malaika has come on board.

Heartbroken after the failure of his first marriage with first wife, mother to socialite Sheilah Gashumba, Frank Gashumba retreated fully into business, and hopped from media station to another to give his views on social, political and business issues.

Frank Gashumba had even told all and sundry that he did not intend to ever marry again after learning bitter lessons from his first marriage.

Once bitten twice shy, he seemed to keep telling himself everytime the temptations that come with cold nights knocked and the weakness of being clothed in flesh and bl00d reared its ugly head.

And for many years, Frank Gashumba managed to resist the temptation of finding another woman for a wife.

While he might have found help from some women or girls over the years, the public had no way to tell. If such happened, he must have kept it secret.

It is also said that his close friends kept urging him to find a woman around his age or a young girl and remarry.

Gashumba is about 50 years old.

The leader of Sisimuka Uganda, Frank Gashumba would later make the final decision to find a woman and marry.

While there were many women of different ages, Frank Gashumba zeroed on Patience Mutoni Malaika, choosing her to be his earthly angel in human form and to walk with him for the rest of his life.

Not much is known about Patience Mutoni Malaika, which speaks to how much Frank Gashumba must have wanted to stay away from Kampala based socialites in his choice of a marriage partner.

Patience Mutoni Malaika introduced Frank Gashumba to her parents in the district of Sembabule at a ceremony attended by the powerful friends of Gashumba from the business world and PLU.
