SAD! Over 40 People Killed by ADF Rebels in Church Attack

At least 43 people were killed by ADF Rebels in an attack on a church in eastern DR Congo on Sunday.

The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a terrorist group linked to the Islamic State, launched the attack at the Catholic church located in Komanda.

The ADF rebels who attacked the Komanda church had machetes and guns.

Communities near the church heard gunshots but thought these were from robbers.

The attack in this northeastern DR Congo city happened at Catholics attended a mass early Sunday morning.

At least nine children were among the 43 killed in the rebel attack.

Several other people have been reported either injured or missing.

ADF rebels have previously launched attacks in DR Congo and Uganda.

The other terrorist group troubling the region is the Alshabaab, which weeks ago killed several UPDF officers (See Details Here).
