Ofwono Opondo also said that he was impressed by the respect that Anita Among still accords President Museveni.
He also talked of Among’s resolve to vote Jacob Oboth Oboth, the national chairman’s and first son’s favorite for the job of speaker of the 12th parliament.
“My sister Anita Among, it was an honour paying you a courtesy this afternoon, especially in these times,” wrote Opondo.
“Your upbeat spirit, lively chat and commitment to uphold, respect and vote the Speaker candidate forwarded by NRM. Your honour to President Museveni top-notch.”
Opondo also dismissed reports that Anita Among’s phones had been confiscated to aid investigations.
He added that friends and family are allowed to visit Anita Among at her home in Nakasero, Kampala, contrary to reports.
“I say without any fear of contractions, contrary to media reports, that no mobile telephone hand set was withdrawn from Anita Among,” he further wrote.
“Visitors have access to her home on Marcknon Rd, Nakasero.”
