Daniella Atim with Jose Chameleone
Abba Marcus Mayanja, son to Ugandan singer Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone, says his mother Daniella Atim is not the one responsible for his father’s sickness.
Jose Chameleone has been in hospital since last week. Months ago, Daniella Atim made it clear that she had run away from Jose Chameleone.
“I checked out of my abusive marriage in 2016 and began planning my exit while maintaining appearances,” Daniella said in a social media post. “
“I was scared. I had no idea what I was doing but I am so glad I took that leap of faith…my only regret is not having left sooner.”
As he opened up, Abba Marcus Mayanja said no one should heap blame on his mother for his father’s sickness.
In his view, his mother is innocent and his father’s alcohol problem is to blame.
“It completely disheartens me when I see the internet throwing around and bash my mother giving making her the cause of everything. I am here to tell you that is completely false. My mother has nothing to do with any health issues that my father may be experiencing,” said Abba Marcus Mayanja.
“Throughout my entire life I’ve always seen my father struggle with alcohol and controlling the use of alcohol. He has given he’s a big public figure and he’s human at the end of the day. He may struggle with certain anxieties and blah blah blah and maybe he chose to use that as a escape. Unfortunately that kind of thing is starting to catch up with him.”
