President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni and his wife First Lady Janet have taken the second jabs of the Covid19 Astrazeneca vaccine dose.
Ministry of health permanent secretary Diana Atwine and the president’s personal physician administered the vaccine to Museveni.
After he and his wife took the second jab, they rallied Ugandans to embrace vaccination.
“I urge Ugandans to get vaccinated. We started with the high-risk groups like health workers, teachers, the elderly, security, and people with comorbidities. Our target is to cover over four million people,” said the president.
