Odrek Rwabwogo, President Yoweri Museveni’s son-in-law, has warned against reintroduction of Bachwezi, prompting supporters and loyalists of first son, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) leader Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to fire back at him.
Gen Muhoozi has previously claimed he is a Muchwezi and waxed lyrical about the Bachwezi’s prowess in many aspects of life. The Pearl Times shares some of Muhoozi’s posts on Bachwezi.

Some of you asked me who the descendants of the Bachwezi were, well, now I can answer…General Yoweri Museveni, Prince Fred Rubereza, General Fred Rwigyema and General Salim Saleh! They are the direct descendants of the Bachwezi!
For the Bachwezi, we have our God!! He told us from the beginning that He will bless those who bless us and He will curse those who curse us!
When the history of the Bachwezi is written. Let them say that the two strands of the Chwezi family, in 2022, were brought together by a humble son and a gracious uncle!
The definition of Bachwezi is ‘Humble, persistent and fearless seekers of the Truth!’ Bachwezi can exist in any race or culture but they can NEVER be denied! They are the true conscious of mankind!
The Bachwezi have returned to Uganda! They were always here because they are immortal children of God! But now they have returned! May the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be praised forever!!!

I pity those who think they can defeat Bachwezi… Uganda is a nation of descendants from Bachwezi, those who are throwing small bombs around will learn a tough lesson!
ODREK RWABWOGO ON REINTRODUCING BACHWEZI
Speaking at Light up Uganda Conference at Kololo Grounds in Kampala, Rwabwogo warned against the reintroduction of Bachwezi.
“If salvation is your heritage, don’t introduce the Bachwezi, don’t reintroduce witchcraft,” preached Rwabwogo.
“Remember where you have come from. Your children must be the first to carry salvation forward.”
Immediately, Muhoozi’s supporters fired back at Rwabwogo. Some even shared a post by a parody account that some unsuspecting people believed belongs to the first son.
“Any attack on the Bachwezi is a direct attack on God and on us. In the Bible, we were called the tribe of Levi…or the Levites. The only ones who were allowed to enter the Holy of Holies and speak to God,” a post on Muhoozi Kainerugaba Parody read.
PLU secretary general and Kasambya MP David Kabanda wrote: “RWABWOGO has looked for money banange, he is now a pastor??? I swear this man needs a medal. Someone should remind him that there is money in witchcraft. He can be a witch doctor. Dr. Odreck…”

The conference is organized by Pastor Patience Rwabwogo, Museveni’s daughter and wife to Odrek, who is in a way the priestess of the Museveni family. (See Details Here).
It should be remembered that Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba previously claimed that Odrek Rwabwogo was the biggest thief in Uganda, prompting supporters of Odrek Rwabwogo to fire back as reported Here.
Odrek Rwabwogo has been rumoured to have intentions of succeeding Museveni as president, which rumors he has spoken out on. (See Details Here and There).
