Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has he is not afraid of his 2021 election challenger Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine of the National Unity Platform (NUP) lost to Museveni of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the January 14 poll.
Museveni has told France 24 host Marc Perelman that although he believes that Bobi Wine and his NUP were “definitely agents of foreign interests,” he is not afraid of the singer-turned-politician.
The 76-year-old president says he defeated Bobi Wine in the January 14 presidential election and is not afraid of the potential he has to dislodge him from power through an election or other means.
“[Not afraid of Bobi Wine] at all,” said Museveni.
“We are not afraid at all because we know where the issue are and how to handle them.”
