First son and Commander of UPDF Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has said that he and his group will never allow singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine to be Uganda’s President.
Bobi Wine stood against Lt Gen Kainerugaba’s father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni but lost the election.
The pop star said he had been rigged out. He contested Museveni’s reelection in the country’s Supreme Court but later withdrew his case and took it to the ‘public court.’
It remains to be seen if Bobi Wine will run for president in 2026.
But Kainerugaba now says that Bobi Wine will never be Uganda’s President.
Referring to the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader as Kabobi, the Commander of UPDF Land Forces says they will not allow the singer and politician to ascend to the country’s top office.
“Kabobi should know that we will never allow him to be President of this country!” wrote Muhoozi.
He also said that he would defeat Bobi Wine in a presidential election.
“I don’t fear an election against Kabobi. I would beat him very badly!” he said.
“We beat him in 2021, we will beat him again.”
But Bobi Wine has previously said that Muhoozi would not even get 5% if he run against him. (Read Story Here).
