First son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba will launch a podcast dubbed the Muhoozi-Mwenda Dialogue, veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda, who will host the podcast, has announced.
Andrew Mwenda made the revelation a day after Gen Muhoozi quit X to concentrate on the duties of the national army, the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
The monthly podcast is expected to go on a historical and current affairs excursion. According to Mwenda, the first podcast will go live on video sharing site Youtube at the end of the month of January 2025.
Mwenda called on local televisions to submit their bids to broadcast the Muhoozi-Mwenda dialogue.
“Henceforth, the CDF is launching a monthly podcast hosted by me to discuss history and current affairs at a strategic level. It will be called the Muhoozi-Mwenda dialogue,” announced Mwenda.
“The first podcast will be broadcast of YouTube on January 28th. Television stations can now bid for rights to broadcast it.”
