Minister Janet Museveni Announces Senior Five Selection, Reporting Dates

Education and Sports Minister Janet Kataaha Museveni has announced the dates for the selection exercise and reporting for Senior Five students for the 2023 academic year.

After releasing results from the 2022 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams, Minister Janet Museveni, who is the Ugandan first lady, revealed when the hundreds of candidates who passed their end O-level exams will be selected for admission to their preferred secondary schools across the country.

According to Ms Museveni, the selection exercise for those joining Senior Five will happen on February 23 and 24. The exercise will happen about two weeks after the release of the 2022 UCE results which happened on Thursday, February 09, 2023.

Students joining their Senior Five will report on March 06, 2023, which will be exactly one month after the other classes, except Senior One, reported for the first term of the 2023 academic year.
