Mbabazi return haunts Wakiso Giants

Mbarara FC were 2:1 winners against Wakiso Giants in Uganda Star times premier league as the Ankole Lions climbed to 11th position on the log with 17 points.

The Ankole lions went a goal down through Tom Matsiko penalty kick in the fourth minute of First half before Henry Kitenyi leveled in the 41st minute.

Solomon Okwalinga sent the visitors in front in the 85th minute of the second half to deny Dagoulas Bamweyana a point at home in the opening part of theseason.

Wakiso Giants hoped to atleast pick a point from the visitors after defeating them in the first half of the season at Kakyeka stadium where they defeated Mbarara 1:0 while head coach Mbabazi Livingstone was then coaching Kyetume FC.

Mbabazi who had a stint at Wakiso Giants is on mission to save The Ankole lions from relegation which he started on as they claimed all three points against the purple sharks.

In other games, KCCA beat Bul FC 3:0, Solitilo Bright Stars won Kitara Fc 3:1 and Vipers went back on top of the log table after defeating UPDF by 3:0.

On Saturday Kyetume host Police while Express will take it on with URA at Wankulukuku.
