Popular self-styled man of God Pastor Jonathan Nalebo aka Apostle Jonah seemed to blame Satan ‘the enemy’ for destroying his marriage, and he has now decided to return to Jesus’ feet after announcing a breakup with his wife Enid Mirembe.
Pastor Jonathan Nalebo aka Apostle Jonah, a former Galaxy FM presenter, is the lead pastor of the Millennials for Christ Ministries, an online-based youth community church.
Enid Mirembe, now his ex-wife and mother of their children, is the founder of the Rolex Festival and the former Miss Tourism Busoga Region. Mirembe will remain with the children and the pastor can occasionally check on them.
Man of God Pastor Jonathan Nalebo aka Apostle Jonah was sad that he had failed to be a good example to the sheep he shepherds at Millennials for Christ Ministries.
He says he had been cautioned (likely through teachings and preaching) that the enemy (Christians sometimes refer to Satan – the devil – as the enemy) likes to target the things that one values.
Pastor Jonathan Nalebo aka Apostle Jonah says that he had learnt how the enemy can divide people and institutions like marriage when believers are not spiritually awake.
“As a servant of God, I know I am called to lead by example—but I have fallen short. I was warned that the enemy often comes for the most precious things—and family is one of them,” noted Apostle Jonah.
“I now see how easily the enemy can sow division when we are not vigilant in prayer, humility, and love.”
Full of regrets after separating with Enid Mirembe, a woman he described as having been “incredible,” he has now decided to seek and serve Jesus more.
He hopes to have had his heart mended by the time Jesus brings him a new lover.
“As for me, I return to the feet of Jesus. To seek Him more deeply, to serve Him more faithfully, and to become the man He originally called me to be,” said Nalebo.
“And if love ever comes again, I hope it finds me healed, whole, and more anchored in Christ.”
