MPs have elected Bukedea District Woman MP and hitherto deputy speaker the new speaker of Parliament, replacing the late Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah.
Over 468 MPs took part in the election presided over by Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo.
