The elections were held on January 22 across the country, with voters turning out to elect their local leaders, including LC5 chairpersons, city mayors, municipality mayors, and other local government leaders.

Losers
– Tororo District: John Obbo (Independent) – 31,826 votes
– Rubanda District: Twinomujuni Julius Buzare (Independent) – 19,079 votes (25.64%)
– Buhweju District: Muhamya Phillip Panadol – 19,754 votes
