The NRM Election Disputes Tribunal is delivering rulings on the first batch of petitions challenging results of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) parliamentary primary elections held on July 17, 2025, to parties involves or their laywers.
On Wednesday, August 06, 2025, the NRM Election Disputes Tribunal released the first batch of rulings from election petitions.
A total of 426 petitions were filed challenging the results of the ruling NRM parliamentary primaries.
NRM Election Disputes Tribunal, whose chairperson is John Musiime, started the hearing of petitions on July 29, 2025.
The full list of winners and losers of these election petitions challenging results of NRM primaries is yet to be released by the NRM Election Disputes Tribunal.
