LIST: Western Uganda's Top Best Performing Schools in UACE 2025 LIST: Uganda's Best UACE 2025 Schools by Number of Maximum 20 Points

Western Uganda’s top best performing schools in UACE 2025 have been revealed, following an analysis of results released by assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb).

The schools on list of Western Uganda’s top best performing schools in UACE 2025 is based on average points score, and the schools with nearly an average points score of 11 have been listed here.

For the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results, the maximum points score is 20 points. The average points score is derived by the total number of points per Uneb centre or school divided by the total candidature (number of candidates — or total in the table in this report).

Western Uganda’s top best performing school in UACE 2025 by average points score is Ntare School in Mbarara City, which has a score of 16.1 points for its class of 181 candidates. Ntare school is number five in the country, according to the rankings by average points score.

Hoima’s St Andrea Kahwa College has a an average points score of 16 points for its class of 246 candidates. The school is number six, according to the rankings by average points score.

Mandela SS Hoima, Maryhill High School in Mbarara and Ibanda’s Alliance SS complete the first five slots on the list of Western Uganda’s top best performing schools in UACE 2025
