Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has listed Uganda’s top 30 best hotels in 2024, ranging from five star to two star accommodation facilities.
The ratings are contained in a notice of results of grading and classification exercise of accommodation facilities in Uganda. UTB carried out the grading and classification exercise of hotels in accordance with Regulation 5(4) of Uganda Tourism (Classification of Accommodation Facilities and Restaurants) Regulations 2014.
Of the graded and classified hotels, only three earned a five-star rating atop Uganda’s top 30 best hotels in 2024. They: are Kampala Serena Hotel, Sheraton Kampala Hotel and Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa.
Those with a four-star ranking – completing the top 11 of Uganda’s top 30 best hotels in 2024 – are: Emburara Farm Lodge, Protea Hotel by Marriot Entebbe, Igongo Cultural Centre and Country Hotel, Golden Tulip Canaan Kampala, Mestil Hotels, Kabira Country Club, Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz, and Protea Mariott Kampala.
UTB said the grading and classification of Uganda’s hotels, restaurants and accommodation facilities was still ongoing, with more star rating lists expected to be released after more assessments.
