Main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) has released the names of opposition’s new parliament bosses (Committees and fora) as Joel Ssenyonyi is re-appointed LOP (Leader of the Opposition in Parliament of Uganda).
In new changes approved the NUP NEC, the party also appointed Manjiya County MP John Baptist Nambeshe as a Commissioner in Parliament. Nambeshe has been the opposition chief whip.
The opposition party picked Jinja South East MP Paul Mwiru to serve as Opposition Chief whip. Mwiru was the NUP’s speaker candidate but lost to Jacob Oboth Oboth, as reported Here.

Betty Nambooze Bakireke (Mukono Municipality MP): Chairperson of Local Government Committee
Abed Nasser Mudiobole: Deputy Chairperson of Local Government Committee
Francis Zaake (Mityana Municipality MP): Chairperson of Government Assurances Committee
Anna Adeke Ebaju: Deputy Chairperson of Government Assurances Committee
