List: How 30 Uganda Cranes players shared Shs5bn from State House, Sports Ministry

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) has released a list showing how much money each of the 30 national team Uganda Cranes players earned in the past three years.

Fufa said the list, coming on the backdrop of resignations (including that of captain and goalkeeper Denis Onyango), contained direct payments that “do not include any other expenses incurred on the team over the period.”

The period of payments, with funds from State House and other Government sources, is 2018 to March 2021.

“These same players have earned from other fufa sources but this is only from Government,” clarified Fufa.

“More players are paid by fufa than listed here.”
