The selection exercise for Senior One Class of 2026 ends today. The Senior One placement exercise began on February 12, 2026, at UMA Grounds, Lugogo, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and will end today Friday, February 13, 2025.
By the end of the exercise, hundreds of thousands of 2025 PLE candidates will be have been placed in secondary schools nationwide following last week’s release of Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results.
Thereafter, Senior One students will report to schools to join continuing students who have been at their respective education institutions since February 10.
The first term for the senior one students starts on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Worth noting is that most top schools slightly reduced their cutoffs or maintained them compared to last year due to the poor performance in PLE 2025.
