LIST: Here are Western Uganda’s Top 20 Schools in PLE 2023

Sheema Municipality’s St Mukasa Seminary, Fort Portal City’s Tooro Parents Education Centre, Kisoro Municipality’s St Allen’s Primary School, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality’s Parental Care Primary School and Bundibugyo’s Ntandi SDA Integrated Primary School are the best schools in Western Uganda, according to the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results released by the Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb).

This Pearl Times ranking features 20 best performing PLE 2023 schools in Western Uganda based on three parameters: the number of first grades, the rate (percentage) of first grades (Division One scores), and number of candidates.

This ranking has considered schools which had 50 candidates. This means that schools which had fewer candidates are not part of this list.

The list also includes schools which had 100 per cent, 99 per cent, and 98 per cent first grade scores. Only one school leading the 97 per cent pack has also been included.
