LIST: Best UCE 2023 Schools in Bushenyi

Kitabi Seminary and Bweranyangi Girls SS are the best UCE 2023 Bushenyi schools, a Pearl Times analysis of results from Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has indicated. 

While there might be a number of ways to rank schools, this Pearl Times ranking of best UCE 2023 Bushenyi schools considers the percentage of first grades a school or examination centre managed to get as well as the total number of first grades. In the latter rank, a school with the highest number of first grades is ranked the best.

The Pearl Times has considered these two ranking methods to come up with two separate lists of best UCE 2023 Bushenyi schools.

BEST UCE 2023 BUSHENYI SCHOOLS BASED ON PERCENTAGE OF FIRST GRADES

At Kitabi Seminary, 66 candidates out of the 72 candidates of 2023 class scored first grades. This was was followed by Bweranyangi Girls SS which had 310 candidates in total, with 274 scoring first grades.

In third position is St Mary’s Vocational SS Kyamuhunga which had 210 candidates. Up to 171 candidates had first grades.

In number four is St Kagwa High School where 96 candidates scored first grade in a class of 121. In number five is Plus Two High School where 68 candidates out of 96 scored first grades.

St Charles Lwanga Kitabi, St Cecilia Girsl Vocational SS, Kyeizooba Girls SS, St Kana SS Kashozi and St Mark SS Nyakatooma complete Bushenyi’s top 10 list of best performing schools in UCE 2023.

BEST UCE 2023 BUSHENYI SCHOOLS BASED ON HIGHEST NUMBER OF FIRST GRADES

The Pearl Times ranking criterion based on highest number of first grades puts Bweranyangi Girls SS in number one, followed by St Mary’s Vocational SS Kyamuhunga, Kyeizooba Girls SS, and St Kagwa High School.
